In 1983, passionate entrepreneur Jack McEntee founded our original company, Universal Pest Services, drawing on his wealth of experience from a previous venture in the commercial janitorial industry. His aim was to create something truly special – a business built on the principles of Quality, Value, and unparalleled Customer Service.
Determined to replicate his prior success, Jack embarked on a new journey, establishing Universal Pest Services as the premier provider of commercial pest control services in the Philadelphia tri-state area. In 2005, the company expanded its scope to include residential pest control.
In 2024, the commercial and residential divisions were separated into two distinct businesses to better serve the specific needs of each customer group. This strategic move led to the creation of Universal Home & Pest Solutions, now under the leadership of Mark Winner.
With a steadfast commitment to excellence, Universal Home & Pest Solutions has directed its focus solely towards enhancing residential environments through comprehensive whole home pest control services. This evolution underscores the company’s dedication to providing residential customers with unparalleled expertise and unwavering reliability.
